Kachina Bridge at the Monument

40x30 inches 2026

This massive landform rises up from the valley floor at Natural Bridges National Monument. The path I followed used the stream bed to navigate the valley. Approaching the arch by foot emphasized its scale, and the scrubby desert vegetation softens its edges.

New small works - I've been experimenting with small works on stretched silk. Here are a few from this summer.
